Shari joined the family business after graduating from UT Ausitn in accounting and earning her CPA. She and her mother, Carol, worked together managing the financial and accounting side of the family's wide range of businesses. Following the sale of one of the family's companies, Shari briefly left the family business, returning to take on the role of CFO for Southern Core, which she has held since 2007.
